The inaugural Avathar Awards ceremony took place on September 16, 2018, at the prestigious Peacock Palace in Seremban 2. The venue, owned by a young professional
dedicated to providing event halls for small and medium-sized functions, set the stage for an evening of celebration and recognition.The event garnered significant attention, with nearly 200 inquiries and nominations received. However, only the top 20 achievers were chosen to receive the prestigious award from the esteemed guest of honor, YB Arul Kumar Jambunathan, Member of Parliament in Nilai and EXCO of Human Resource and Non-Islamic Affairs in the Negeri Sembilan’s State Assembly. Each of the 20 awardees was carefully selected based on a thorough vetting process, considering not only their entrepreneurial ventures but also their personal backgrounds to ensure their eligibility for the prestigious honor. These remarkable individuals hailed from diverse industries such as agriculture, heavy machinery, beautician, athletics, entertainment, garments, food and beverages, and more.
